New Competition
I know it has been awhile since I blogged because I haven't been doing good at all. I wish I could say that I haven't been blogging because I have been too busy exercising, but not such luck. Monday, June 7 I started a weight competition with my sister Michele, my friend Gail, my husband Frank and my son Kody. We all will be paying $100 each and will compete for 6 weeks and the winner will take the pot. I sure could use $500, but since Monday I have been eating and eating. I am hoping the next blog will be of more joyous news.

Yes I ate the Kielhbasi
Yes I ate the Kielhbasi and I am not happy about it. Today was no better. I started out good making myself that smoothie but was hungrey before lunch so I fixed 2 pieces of toast with butter and peanut butter. Then lunch I had a banana and snacked on some pretzels in the afternoon. Came home went right to bed cuz I was so very tired. Got up and fixed mashed potatoes with butter on it, ate more pretzels, had ice cream bar and a orange creamcicle and then some ritz crackers. Now I am going back to bed.

Can't Get Started
Well, here I am in the 2nd week of trying to get this weight off. I still need to start exercising. I planned to do one of Leslie Sansone's Walk Away The Pounds video tonight, but Frank came home and plus I am so very tired from little sleep last night due to too much caffeine. What I was just telling my sister today is that if I don't exercise 1st thing in the morning I pretty much am not going to. I had toast for breakfast and a couple pieces of buttered bread in a rush for lunch. I had a snack of cheesey popcorn and some animal crackers. Then for dinner I had my mother in for dinner and fixed kielhbasi, mashed potatoes and brocoli with ice cream bars for dessert. I am still hungry, but today my sister and I started our Wednesday weekly weigh ins and I have gone up 6 pounds from our last weigh in of April 24. Bad bad bad!
While I was shopping for dinner tonight I picked up some fruit which I plan to eat this week. I plan to make myself a banana smoothie for breakfast and have a half a cantaloupe mixed with light yogurt for lunch and probably apples for dinner and maybe another smoothie. Hopefully I can fit some exercise in there.
I am still hungry and all I can think of is the leftover kielhbasi in the frig and keep trying to tell myself that I don't want it, it is too close to bedtime. I will let you know tomorrow if I succumb to it.
